Easy Chicken Alfredo Pasta

This chicken alfredo pasta is great to cook if you want to make a yummy dish for a special dinner but need it to be fast and easy to make. Usually, alfredo recipes say you should cook the pasta with the cream and some milk but to make it perfect using that method you will need to practice a bit first, that is why this option is fantastic for those who are still learning in the kitchen!

Feel free to add some veggies, ham or bacon to the sauce. It is important to use your imagination with every recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1lb of boneless chicken breast
  • 1lb of pasta
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cut your boneless chicken into tiny chunks. I recommend cutting in tiny cubes but if you prefer strips that works perfectly too!
  2. Season the chicken with some garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
  3. In a large skillet, over medium heat, add the olive oil and cook the chicken until brown on each side.
  4. When the chicken is ready set aside.
  5. In a large pot cook the pasta as regular until al dente. Use your favorite kind of pasta, this recipe works great with all of them!
  6. When the pasta is ready, strain it and set aside.
  7. Take the large skillet with the chicken and place it again over medium heat.
  8. Add the heavy cream to the skillet. Stir to combine with the chicken.
  9. After 2-3 minutes, add the cooked pasta and fold it in to cover it with the cream. Give it another 2-3 minutes to combine well.
  10. Serve with some Parmesan cheese on top!
