This choco cookie fudge is a really easy and fast dessert that you can make without having to turn on your oven! Feel free to use your favorite kind of chocolate cookies for the crumbles and don’t hesitate to add other ingredients like nuts or even chopped candy.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g of milk chocolate
  • 75 g of dark chocolate
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, about 400 g
  • 24 chocolate cookies
  • 4 tbsp of black coffee, brewed
  • 1 tsp of salt

Instructions:

  1. Place the cookies inside a food processor and pulse to get fine cookie crumbs. This step can also be made by hand, put the cookies inside a zipper bag and with the help of a roller pin or something similar, break the cookies to get the crumbs. Set aside to use later.
  2. Using the double boiler method, over medium heat, melt both of the chocolate kind. If you prefer to use just one kind, there is no problem, the important thing is to use the complete amount of chocolate.
  3. When the chocolate is completely melted, and still warm, incorporate the sweetened condensed milk, black coffee and salt, Stir to combine really well. The coffee is optional but it helps to enhance the chocolate flavor.
  4. Add the chocolate cookie crumbles and fold them into the condensed milk. Make sure the crumbs are well distributed.
  5. Grease and line an 8×8 pan.
  6. Pour all the fudge mixture into the previously lined pan. With the back of a spoon, spread the chocolate to make sure the mixture is smooth and even in the pan.
  7. Place the pan into the refrigerator for 1 hour to let it set.
  8. After an hour, cut the fudge into square pieces, as big as you wish, and serve!
