Creamy Chicken Sandwich

Get ready for that Sunday picnic with your family making these fantastic creamy chicken sandwiches! They are perfect for lunch or dinner, also it is great that you can personalize them with you favorite veggies and sauces.

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 baguettes
  • 1 cup of cream cheese
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 purple onion, large
  • 1 green bell pepper, large
  • 1 lettuce, small
  • 2 tbsp of mustard
  • 1 tbsp of oil
  • 1 tbsp of garlic powder
  • Honey mustard to spread
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, over medium heat, add the tbsp of oil and when hot enough incorporate the diced chicken. Sprinkle the garlic powder and some salt and pepper to taste. It is important to give enough flavor to your chicken, feel free to add any other herb that you wish.
  2. When the chicken is already cooked and brown ish on every side, lower the heat and add the cup of cream cheese and 2 tbsp of mustard. Now is when you should add some hot sauce if you want this dish to be spicy.
  3. Stir the chicken until the cream cheese melts and you get a creamy and delicious chicken. When ready divide into 6 portions.
  4. Cut each baguette into 2 or 3 pieces, depending on how big you want your sandwiches. Use any kind of bread that you enjoy.
  5. Slice all your veggies to assemble the sandwiches.
  6. Open the pieces of baguette and pread some honey mustard, or regular mustard, on one side of each.
  7. Add the lettuce, tomatoes, onions bell pepper and a portion of creamy chicken for each sandwich.

These sandwiches are perfect to serve cold or toasted!
