INGREDIENTS
12 ounces of bacon
3 (4 lb. each) skinless boneless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
1 teaspoon of salt, divided
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon of onion powder
1 1/4 cup of chopped broccoli
4 ounces of softened cream cheese
1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1 minced clove of garlic
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F, using a sharp kitchen knife, cut the chicken at the middle forming a sort of pocket but be sure not to cut all the way through. Place the chicken in a small bowl, add some drizzles of olive oil over the chicken then set aside.
- Using a small mixing bowl, add in all the spices alongside with 1/2 teaspoon of salt then mix properly to combine. Properly season the chicken with the mixed spices. Using another mixing bowl, add in other ingredients like the cream cheese, parmesan, mayo, minced garlic, the rest of the salt, and the broccoli then stir properly to combine.
- Stuff the chicken with the mixture then secure the opening with a toothpick. Place an aluminum foil on a baking sheet, wrap the chicken with the bacon then place the wrapped and stuffed chicken into the lined baking sheet. Place the baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake the chicken for about thirty-forty minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Place the chicken in a broiler and broil for a few more minutes. Slice and serve.
