Easy Southern Fried Chicken

This scrumptious and delish southern fried chicken is so easy to make and prepared only with 5 ingredients in 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Whole chicken, cut into 10 pieces
  • 1 cup of All-purpose flour
  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • ½ Tsp Garlic powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 quart Vegetable oil, for frying

Directions:

  • Place chicken pieces in a large bowl and season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Roll each chicken piece in flour.
  • Heat oil in a large heavy skillet over high heat (approximately 365 degrees F).
  • Place chicken pieces in hot oil, cover, and fry for 20 minutes or until golden, turning once.
  • Transfer chicken pieces onto a paper towel-lined platter.
  • Serve immediately.
