Creamy Cheese Stuffed Beef Burgers

These delicious cheese-stuffed beef burgers are very easy to make, flavorful, and healthy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound 90% lean ground beef
  • 4 hamburger buns, split
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons dry breadcrumbs
  • 3 teaspoons Dijon mustard, divided
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon dried sage leaves
  • Lettuce leaves and tomato slices for a burger topping, optional

Directions:

  • Combine parsley, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard in a bowl, set aside.
  • Mix together beef, green onion, ketchup, breadcrumbs, remaining mustard, rosemary, salt, and sage in a large mixing bowl until combined.
  • Shape beef mixture into 8 thin patties.
  • Onto the center of 4 patties spoon cheese mixture.
  • Top with remaining 4 patties and press edges firmly to seal.
  • Grill burgers covered over medium heat for 5 minutes each side.
  • Serve on buns with lettuce leaves and tomato slices.
