Ingredients
1 large egg (beaten)
¾ cup milk
1 tbsp. sugar
½ tsp. vanilla extract
¼ tsp. black pepper
A pinch of salt
4 slices of bread
Method:
- In a medium bowl, add the egg, milk, vanilla extract, black pepper, sugar and salt. Mix until the sugar and salt have dissolved.
- Heat the frying pan on medium high. Use butter or oil to grease the pan.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture; ensure both sides are coated.
- Place the soaked bread into the frying pan. Fry each side for 2-3 minutes until both sides are golden brown. Serve hot.
