This is an easy to make, delicious, and healthy dessert for the New Years for your family and friends.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 3 Pears peeled, cored, and cut into wedges
- 1 Pomegranate skinned and light-colored membrane removed
- 1 Tbs Lemon juice
- ½ Tsp Ground cinnamon
- ¼ Tsp Ground nutmeg
- 2 TBS Light brown sugar
- 2 TBS Finely chopped almonds
- 4 Sprigs of Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
Directions:
- In a bowl, place pear wedges and pomegranate seeds.
- Pour lemon juice over pear and pomegranate and toss to coat.
- In a small bowl, combine cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar mixture into the fruits.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to blend the flavors.
- After 1 hour divided into 4 serving bowls.
- Garnish each bowl with a sprinkle of chopped almonds and a sprig of mint.
