This much-loved classic dessert is made with raisins, cinnamon, oatmeal, flour, egg, and brown sugar.

Ingredients:
- Old fashioned roll oats 1 cup
- White whole wheat flour 1 cup
- Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
- Baking powder 1 teaspoon
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Raisins ½ cup
- Light brown sugar 2/3 cup packed
- Egg 1 large
- Unsalted butter 6 tablespoons, melted
- Alcohol-free vanilla extract 1 ½ teaspoons
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray, set aside.
- In a medium bowl, stir together flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, egg, butter, and vanilla extract.
- Add oats, flour mixture, and raisins in egg and butter mixture and mix with a wooden spoon until well combined.
- Drop level tablespoons of this batter onto the greased baking sheet, make sure to leave the space between two cookies as they will increase in size.
- Bake for 14 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
