Shahi Tukra Bread Dessert

Ingredients:

  • 16 ounces whole milk
  • 1 pack cream
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 5 slices white bread (cut the brown edges)
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Almond, walnuts and pistachios for garnishing

Method

  1. Cut 5 bread slices in half, it will be 10 triangle shaped bread slices.
  2. in a wok heat oil and  Deep fry the slices of bread until they get golden brown in color, place these slices in a dish. 
  3. In another pan add milk, half packet cream, condensed milk along with cardamom powder.
  4. Mix well, let it simmer until it is reduced by half and is thick in consistency.
  5. Now pour this mixture over the bread slices in a dish and pour more cream on top and garnish with chopped almonds, walnuts and pistachios!
