These delicious southern fried green tomatoes are very easy to make and made only with 6 ingredients.

Ingredients:
• 1 pound green tomatoes, sliced ½ inch thick
• ½ cup canola oil
• 3 eggs, beaten
• ½ cup yellow cornmeal
• ½ cup all-purpose flour
• Kosher salt to taste
Directions:
• In 3 separate shallow bowls, place the eggs, cornmeal, and flour.
• First dip each slice of tomato in flour, then in the eggs (drip off any excess egg), and finally in the cornmeal, gently press each tomato slice to help it adhere.
• In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
• Working in batches, fry the tomatoes for 2 minutes per side or until golden.
• Transfer to a kitchen towel-lined serving platter and season with salt before serving.
