Are you bored of cooking your steaks the same way every day? This recipe will show you how to improve your dishes using just some extra ingredients and without having to spends hours in the kitchen.
I really like to use this recipe to serve with some baked veggies or even to make delicious homemade burritos!
Ingredients:
- 500 g of steak
- 2 onion, large
- 3 tbsp of worcestershire sauce
- 2 garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- Fresh parsley to taste, chopped
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Chop your onions in medium size pieces. You can also have them in small chunks but this recipe is for onion lovers so medium chunks will work perfectly. If you want to add some color to the dish, use one red onion or even some chives.
- In a large saucepan, over low heat, add the olive oil and wait until hot.
- Incorporate the onions and start cooking them.
- Cut your steaks to get bite size pieces. Cover them with some salt and pepper.
- Over medium heat, add the meat and the minced garlic into the pan. If you don’t have minced garlic, some garlic powder will work too.
- Stir every now and then to cook evenly, you don’t want to burn the onion.
- After about 10 minutes, add the worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine.
- Add a little bit more of salt and pepper to make sure you get enough flavor.
- Pour about 2 tbsp of water and mix with the worcestershire sauce keep the meat juicy with some sauce.
- When the meat is cooked as you like, add the chopped fresh parsley to taste. This is optional but adds color and flavor.
- Serve with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
