Walnut Cake

  • Total time: 55 min

Ingredients:

  • Eggs 4
  • All-purpose flour 1 ½ cup
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Caster sugar 1 cup
  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  • Walnuts (chopped) ½ cup
  • Orange essence 2 drops

Method:

  1. Preheat oven at 350o Uniformly mix All-purpose flour and baking powder
  2. Take 4 eggs in a bowl and beat it then add oil gradually in it with continuous beating
  3. Add castor sugar gradually and beat it continuously. Stop beating
  4. Add all-purpose flour gradually and mix it with spatula using round and cut process
  5. Add chopped walnut and 2 drops essence in it
  6. Then add this better in greased pan
  7. Bake it for 40 min
  8. Glace with chocolate sauce

    1. Castor sugar is also known as super fine sugar, but not to be confused with powdered sugar. If you are unable to find it, you can easily make it on your own by putting regular granulated sugar in a coffee grinder or food processor.
