Breaded Pork Chops

Crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, these pork chops will be a delightful meal for a family gathering or potluck.

Ingredients

4 Pork Chops

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 large egg, beaten

1 cup breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

 

Method:

  1. Combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, black pepper and salt. Mix well.
  2. Beat the egg and set it aside for coating.
  3. Coat each pork chop in seasoned flour, then dip them into the beaten egg; dip them in breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the chops.
  5. Cook for about 5 minutes or until both sides of the chop are browned.
